Community Guidelines
Standards for a safe and respectful VikiViki community

1. Our Community Values
VikiViki is built on the belief that AI character roleplay can be a creative, engaging, and enjoyable experience for everyone. Our community thrives when users treat each other and the platform with respect. These guidelines exist to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.
We value:
- Creativity — We encourage imaginative and fun interactions with AI characters.
- Respect — We expect all users to engage respectfully, both with each other and within the broader community.
- Safety — We prioritize the safety and well-being of all users, especially minors.
- Inclusivity — We welcome users of all backgrounds and strive to create a space where everyone feels comfortable.
- Responsibility — We encourage responsible use of AI technology and thoughtful engagement with AI-generated content.
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of content and behavior are strictly prohibited on VikiViki. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Hate Speech & Discrimination
Content that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Harassment & Bullying
Targeted harassment, intimidation, threats, or bullying directed at any individual or group. This includes doxxing, stalking, or sharing someone's personal information without consent.
Sexual Content Involving Minors
Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors (persons under 18 years of age) is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities. This is a zero-tolerance policy.
Graphic Violence & Gore
Content that depicts extreme violence, gore, torture, or glorification of real-world violence. Fictional violence in the context of storytelling may be permitted within reasonable limits.
Illegal Activities
Content that promotes, facilitates, or instructs in illegal activities, including but not limited to drug trafficking, weapons manufacturing, terrorism, fraud, or human trafficking.
Spam & Manipulation
Spam, scams, phishing attempts, or any form of deceptive content designed to manipulate or defraud users. This includes the use of bots or automated tools to abuse platform features.
Self-Harm & Suicide
Content that promotes, encourages, or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline.
Impersonation
Impersonating other users, public figures, or VikiViki staff with the intent to deceive or mislead.
3. AI Interaction Guidelines
To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines when interacting with AI characters:
- Remember it's AI: AI characters are not real people. They do not have feelings, consciousness, or personal experiences. Treat interactions as entertainment.
- Don't share sensitive information: Never share personal, financial, medical, or other sensitive information in conversations with AI characters. AI conversations are processed by third-party providers.
- Don't seek professional advice: Do not use AI characters as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
- Report issues: If an AI character generates harmful, inappropriate, or concerning content, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting tools.
- Respect content boundaries: Do not attempt to manipulate or "jailbreak" AI characters to bypass safety filters or generate prohibited content.
- Healthy engagement: Maintain a healthy relationship with AI interactions. If you find yourself relying on AI characters for emotional support, please consider reaching out to real-world support networks.
4. Reporting & Enforcement
How to Report
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, you can report it through:
- In-App Reporting: Use the report button available on messages, profiles, and user-generated content.
- Email: Contact us at support@vikiviki.cc with details of the violation.
Review Process
All reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team. We aim to review reports within 24-48 hours. During the review process:
- The reported content may be temporarily restricted pending review.
- Both the reporter and the reported user will be treated fairly and with confidentiality.
- We will gather necessary context before making enforcement decisions.
Consequences
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, consequences may include:
- Warning: A notification informing the user of the violation and expected behavior.
- Content Removal: Removal of the specific content that violates guidelines.
- Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of account access for a defined period.
- Permanent Ban: Permanent removal of the user's account and access to VikiViki.
- Legal Action: In cases involving illegal activity, we may report the matter to law enforcement authorities.
5. Content Moderation
VikiViki employs a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate content on the platform:
- Automated Moderation: AI-powered safety filters automatically screen AI-generated content and user inputs for policy violations in real time. These systems flag or block content that violates our guidelines.
- Human Review: Our trust and safety team reviews flagged content, user reports, and escalated cases to make final moderation decisions. Human reviewers provide nuanced judgment that automated systems may not capture.
- Proactive Monitoring: We regularly audit AI character behavior and platform content to identify and address emerging risks or policy gaps.
We are committed to continuous improvement of our moderation systems to balance safety with user experience.
6. Appeals Process
If you believe an enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you have the right to appeal:
- Contact our team at support@vikiviki.cc with the subject line "Appeal: [Your Username]".
- Provide a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.
- Include any relevant context or evidence that supports your appeal.
- Our team will review your appeal and respond within 7 business days.
- The decision on the appeal will be final.
7. Updates to Guidelines
VikiViki reserves the right to update these Community Guidelines at any time. When we make significant changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- We may notify users through the app or via email for material changes.
- Continued use of VikiViki after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
