Important information about AI-generated content in VikiViki

1. Nature of AI Content

VikiViki is an AI character roleplay chat application. All characters available on VikiViki are entirely fictional and are powered by artificial intelligence. The responses, personalities, and behaviors of AI characters are generated algorithmically and do not represent the views, opinions, or beliefs of GACMeta TECHNOLOGY., LIMITED or any real person.

AI-generated content is created in real time based on user input and the character's defined personality parameters. No human is on the other side of a conversation with an AI character. The AI does not have consciousness, emotions, or personal experiences — it generates text based on patterns learned from training data.

2. Third-Party AI Providers (Named per Apple Guideline 5.1.2(i))

VikiViki uses the following named third-party AI services to generate character responses and images. We disclose each one by name to comply with Apple App Review Guideline 5.1.2(i). GACMeta TECHNOLOGY., LIMITED does not develop or directly control the underlying AI models. Depending on the model configured for the character you are chatting with, your text may be sent directly to the listed provider's API or routed via OpenRouter as an aggregation gateway.

  • Text Generation — OpenAI, L.L.C. (privacy policy): used when the character is configured with an OpenAI model (GPT-4 family).
  • Text Generation — Anthropic, PBC (privacy policy): used when the character is configured with a Claude model (Claude 3 / 3.5 / 4 family).
  • Text Generation — Google LLC (privacy policy): used when the character is configured with a Gemini model.
  • Aggregation Gateway — OpenRouter, Inc. (privacy policy): when a character is configured to be served through OpenRouter, we proxy the request through OpenRouter to reach the upstream model provider above (and, in some configurations, additional upstream providers including Meta Platforms, Inc. (Llama) and Mistral AI).
  • Image Generation — VastAI / self-hosted ComfyUI (VastAI privacy policy): we operate our own GPU servers on rented compute infrastructure, running open-source diffusion models (e.g., Stable Diffusion). This is our infrastructure rather than a third-party AI vendor in the traditional sense, but we name it here for transparency.

Our AI providers are contractually bound to maintain appropriate security and privacy standards. We regularly review them to ensure they meet our quality and safety requirements. See our Privacy Policy § 4-5 for the complete data-flow disclosure.

3. Limitations of AI

AI technology, while powerful, has inherent limitations. You should be aware that:

  • Inaccuracy: AI may generate responses that are factually incorrect, misleading, or nonsensical. Do not rely on AI-generated content for factual information.
  • Inappropriate Content: Despite our safety measures and content filters, AI may occasionally produce content that is unexpected, inappropriate, or offensive. We continuously work to improve our safety systems.
  • Not Professional Advice: AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, psychological, or therapeutic advice. Never use AI character interactions as a replacement for consultation with qualified professionals.
  • Inconsistency: AI characters may occasionally produce responses that are inconsistent with their defined personality or with previous messages in a conversation.
  • Hallucination: AI may generate plausible-sounding but fabricated information, including fake references, statistics, or events.

4. Data Processing

When you interact with AI characters on VikiViki, your messages are sent to our third-party AI providers for processing in order to generate responses. Here is how your data is handled:

  • Your messages are transmitted securely to our AI providers using encryption.
  • AI providers process your messages solely for the purpose of generating character responses.
  • We contractually require our AI providers not to use your conversation data to train their models without explicit consent.
  • Conversation data may be temporarily retained by AI providers for operational purposes (such as abuse prevention) in accordance with their data processing agreements with us.

5. User Responsibility

As a user of VikiViki, you are responsible for:

  • Understanding that AI characters are fictional and their responses are generated by algorithms.
  • Evaluating AI-generated content critically and not treating it as authoritative or factual.
  • Your own decisions and actions based on interactions with AI characters.
  • Using the app in accordance with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Not attempting to use AI characters to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
  • Reporting any problematic AI-generated content through our in-app reporting tools.

6. No Warranties on AI Output

AI-generated content is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. GACMeta TECHNOLOGY., LIMITED specifically disclaims all warranties regarding AI-generated content, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information provided by AI characters.
  • Fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation of AI features.
  • That AI-generated content will meet your expectations or requirements.

GACMeta TECHNOLOGY., LIMITED shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content.

7. EU AI Act Compliance

In accordance with the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act), we provide the following transparency information:

  • AI System Type: VikiViki uses generative AI systems (large language models) to produce text-based conversational content in a roleplay entertainment context.
  • Purpose: The AI system is used for entertainment purposes — specifically, to enable users to engage in fictional roleplay conversations with AI-generated characters.
  • AI-Generated Content Disclosure: All character responses in VikiViki are generated by AI. Users are informed of this both in this disclaimer and within the app interface.
  • Human Oversight: GACMeta TECHNOLOGY., LIMITED maintains human oversight over the AI system through content moderation, safety filters, and regular audits of AI behavior.
  • Risk Classification: We classify our AI usage as limited risk under the EU AI Act, as it involves AI-generated text in an entertainment context with clear disclosure to users.
